6/2/2022 Seismic event M 7.8 in Turkey detected by RSCL

On 6/2/2023 at 01:17:36 UTC, an earthquake with magnitude M 7.8 (EMSC-CSEM data) occurred in Turkey. The seismic signal produced by this earthquake was distinctly detected by the stations of the Cornegliano Stoccaggio seismic network, which is located approximately 2500 km from the epicentre. Below, we show as an example the seismograms (daily traces in helicorder form) recorded at the OL02 station, displayed with two different filters, to emphasize high frequencies (above 1 Hz) and low frequencies (below 1 Hz).

The Cornegliano Laudense Seismic Network recorded the ML4.2 seismic event occurred on il giorno 9/2/2022 at (UTC) 20:00:57 (21:00:57 Italian time) at about 14 km aNorth of Reggio Emilia ( Correggio) (source: terremoti.ingv.it). That earthquake was preceder by another seismic event with magnitude ML4.0 at (UTC) 18:55:12 (19:55:12 Italian) at Bagnolo in Piano (RE) (source: terremoti.ingv.it).

18/12/2021 Seismic event near Bonate Sotto (BG) detected by RSCL

On 18/12/2021, the Conegliano Laudense Seismic Network recorded a seismic event that occurred near Bonate Sotto in the province of Bergamo at 10:34:47 UTC (11:34:47 Italian time); it was an earthquake with magnitude ML 4.4 (source: terremoti.ingv.it). The event was felt in Milan and also throughout the Lombardia region. Although the event was located at approximately 50 km from the storage site, the seismic signal produced by this earthquake was detected by the stations of the Cornegliano Stoccaggio seismic network.

12/10/2021 ML 2.5 seismic event near Lodi

At 23:18:21 UTC on 11/10/2021 (01:18:21 local time on 12/10/2021) an earthquake occurred in the municipality of Tavazzano con Villavesco in the province of Lodi. The earthquake was recorded by the Cornegliano Laudense Seismic Network (RSCL), as well as by the National Seismic Network (RSN) and Regional Seismic Network of Northwest Italy (RSNI) managed by INGV and the University of Genoa, respectively.

22/3/2020 Seismic event M 5.4 in Zagreb detected by RSCL

On 22/3/2020 at 05:24:02 UTC, an earthquake with magnitude M 5.4 (EMSC-CSEM data) occurred in Zagreb (Croatia). The seismic signal produced by this earthquake was distinctly detected by the stations of the Cornegliano Stoccaggio seismic network, which is located approximately 500 km from the epicentre. Below, we show as an example the seismograms (daily traces in helicorder form) recorded at the OL02 station, displayed with two different filters, to emphasize high frequencies (above 1 Hz) and low frequencies (below 1 Hz).

29/3/2020 Seismic event M 3.4 west of Turin detected by RSCL

On 29/3/2020 at 07:11:34 UTC (9:11:34 Italian time), an earthquake with magnitude M 3.4 (source: terremoti.ingv.it). occurred approximately 30 km west of Turin (Coazze). The seismic signal produced by this earthquake was detected by the stations of the Cornegliano Stoccaggio seismic network, which is approximately 170 km from the epicentre. Below, we show as an example the seismograms (daily traces in helicorder form) recorded at the OL02 station on the same day.

28/8/2020 Seismic event near Lake Garda detected by RSCL

On 28/8/2020, the Conegliano Laudense Seismic Network recorded a seismic event that occurred in Magasa in the province of Brescia, not far from Lake Garda, at 05:32:55 UTC (07:32:55 Italian time); it was an earthquake with magnitude M 2.9 (source: terremoti.ingv.it). Although the event was weak and not near the storage site (approximately 100 km from the epicentre), the seismic signal produced by this earthquake was detected by the stations of the Cornegliano Stoccaggio seismic network.

19/4/2020 Seismic events in the Pavia area and on the Romagna Coast detected by RSCL

On 19/4/2020, the Conegliano Laudense Seismic Network recorded some seismic events that occurred in the Pavia and Romagna Coasts. The strongest event at 09:53:40 UTC (11:53:40 Italian time) occurred in Montalto Pavese (PV), approximately 24 km south of Pavia; it was an earthquake with magnitude M 3.7 (source: terremoti.ingv.it).
